Up 2000 feet and 4 miles bring you to Ramsey Cascades. The falls are over 90 feet high presenting a problem into how to display the falls. After some thought and observation, I began to notice the rock more rather than the falls. This is a beautiful rock pile. I intentional left the picture dark and contrasty to accentuate the rocks and the almost ember-like qualities some of them have. Also see the water falling into the blackness of negative space. Notice the even in the digital image the wetness of the rocks can almost be felt. |
