This is a view from the Big Badlands overlook before dawn. On this day, there was a distant haze covering the ground. It provided an exaggerated sense of distance and mystery. The photograph is set up as a series of compressions of space, leading the viewer across the image and into the distance. The forms create one diagonal and the perspective forms the transverse axis. |
