Canyonlands is one of my favorite spots. I have been along the White Rim Trail three times. It is spectacular. However, it is hard to photograph. Almost all views a from a cliff leading the rather simply photographs. I was fortunate to see a spot where I could blend the scales of the image into a seemless whole. No one part dominates the other. On the other hand, the lit cliffs form a point where the remainder of the photographs radiated from.
