My large format photography started in the Southwest with an extended trip in 1991. It continues to be where I spend most of my time photographing. I am drawn the red rock contrasting with the green plants and the endless tonal subtleties, varying from day to day and hour to hour. I am drawn back to the Southwest yearly to take in each season. Death Valley and Lake Powell are placed in separate galleries.
